You are entitled and encouraged to complain if your right to vote or more generally your right to free election has not been observed.

In case of violation of your rights, violation of requirements for fair elections or commission of crimes, you can contact:

  • the election commission (local or Central Election Commission) regarding any violations of voters' rights or violations in the election procedure
  • the police or the State Bureau of Investigation, if offenses are committed during the elections
  • the administrative court, if your rights are violated.

Complaints to international human rights bodies

If you believe that a violation of your rights has not been remedied by Ukrainian institutions or courts, you can submit a complaint to international and European institutions, such as the European Court of Human Rights or the UN Human Rights Committee.
