The official language in civil proceedings in Ukraine is the Ukrainian language.
This means that the Ukrainian language will be used in the trial. All court documents, including protocols of hearings and judgment will also be prepared in Ukrainian. Your submissions and evidence to the court must also be in Ukrainian or translated into Ukrainian.
If you do not speak or understand Ukrainian sufficiently, you can ask the court for an interpreter free of charge. The interpreter must help you to participate in court proceedings and to familiarize yourself with the case materials.
